I came across this lotion at GNC and I have been using it for about a week now and I absolutely love it. It is pretty thick and hard to squeeze out of the bottle but it works very well. It keeps my skin moisturized all day, it makes my skin feel amazingly soft and it gives my skin a subtle glow. Being Pregnant has me very cautious about what I put on my skin and in my body while my Baby is developing. The fact that it is made from natural and organic ingredients is perfect.
I ordered these 2 Mini Cribs from Babies R US the other day. This is the first purchase I have made for my Baby and I’m so EXCITED! The reason I did this is so that when my Husband gets home in 2 weeks we will be finding out the Gender! We want to put one together right away and get to work once we find out the Gender. Since he works over 1,000 miles from home he is gone for several weeks at a time and is only home from work for 12 days. I can not waste anytime ordering and waiting for things while he is here. His work schedule is pretty unreliable for time off and he won’t be home but maybe 2 or 3 times before the Baby arrives. I can not wait to start decorating and putting together the Nursery. It will be so much fun!
I stopped into my local GNC the other day and found these delicious cookies. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies are my favorite. These are AMAZING! They are full of Protein and are not loaded with a TON of crap like most cookies are. These cookies are HUGE and half of the cookie is 1 serving. It is pretty filling and eating the whole thing is too much at once.
The other day I found a recipe for Healthy Pizzadillas and I just had to try them out. I have been on a homemade Pizza kick lately. I used Whole Wheat Tortillas, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Turkey Pepperoni and Sargento Mozzarella Cheese. I used Organic Pizza Sauce for dipping. These are so healthy, yummy and quick to make.
My Baby Bump and I celebrated 4th of July Weekend with a day at the In-Law’s pool and enjoyed some fireworks. This will be the last time I will fit into this tank top for a while. It was a bit tight to begin with. Lol
My first progression photo started out with my baby the size of an Apple Seed and now it’s the size of an Apple! My OB appointment went well and the Baby’s heart rate was 165 bpm. Fatigue has decreased a ton. I have been sticking with my workouts so I don’t wake up stiff and in tons of pain. My Ab Muscles are definitely stretching and sneezing without pulling a muscle is pretty hard these days. My Prenatal Workouts involve some Core and Ab exercises that are safe with low intensity during my 1st, 2nd and 3rd Trimesters. I have been trying to eat as much Organic products to prevent any issues for my Baby. My hair and nails have been growing like crazy. Most likely due to my Prenatal Vitamins.
Over the course of a week or so, most of my shorts and pants don’t fit anymore. I have gained about 4.5 pounds now. My hips have widened a bit making it impossible to put on some of my shorts. Thankfully Target carries a Maternity line called Liz Lange Maternity in their stores.
Almost 14 weeks. Today is the day of my younger Sister’s Baby Shower. She is due this September. I never would have guessed in a million years that we would have children in the same year. My wonderful Sister-in-Law sent me a box FULL of Baby items and Maternity clothes. This dress from Motherhood Maternity was in the box. It hides the Baby Bump now but not for long.
During my Pregnancy I am limiting myself to 1- 8oz cup of Coffee a day. I will sometimes treat myself to a delicious Decaf Coffee which has a much lower amount of Caffeine. Limiting your Caffeine intake during Pregnancy is very important to prevent a number of issues for your baby. I couldn’t imagine going without my Coffee that’s for sure!
My bump is growing a bit each week. So far I have gained about 3.5 pounds. I’m focused on eating healthy and exercising to gain a healthy amount of weight. At my OB appointment I got to hear the Baby’s Heartbeat for the first time! Unfortunately my Husband couldn’t be here for that appointment. Luckily my wonderful and very helpful Sister-in-Law sent me her Pocket Fetal Doppler. The sound quality is not as good as the Doctor’s Doppler but it gets the job done. I was able to use the Doppler so my Husband could hear our Baby’s heartbeat for the first time. At my OB appointment the Baby’s heartrate was 162 bpm. I’m hoping for a girl and the old wives tales would say a heartrate that high is a girl. We shall see!
